Tickets for Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix now go on sale

RIYADH — The Ministry of Sport, in coordination with the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF), Sunday announced the start of the sale of tickets for Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, one of the stages of Formula 1 races for 2021, which will be held in Saudi Arabia for the first time between Dec. 3 and 5 on Jeddah Corniche.

Stakeholders decided to release 40 percent of the tickets for the race, provided that this percentage can be raised in the future according to updates the organizing committee receives on the developments related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, where the step aims at maintaining all health and safety procedures for fans, drivers, administrative personnel and participants. Booking and tickets sale is now available on the website of the event.

Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix allows fans three categories of tickets throughout the three days of the event: Paddock Club, Premium Hospitality and the Main Grandstand. The price of the tickets for the Main Grandstand starts from SR1,800 for the full package and holders of this ticket can enjoy a unique view on the start and finish lines and the high-speed zone in the last section of the track near curves 26 and 27, where the speed of cars at these curves exceed 322 kilometers per hour.

Formula 1 fans can visit the Paddock Club to enjoy the weekend at the Jeddah Corniche Track at the building of maintenance and teams garages, where holders of the Paddock Club tickets can see Formula 1 drivers and legends and also see the maintenance zone and launching network, and trial and race activities. Holders of the tickets will also be able to watch the Formula 1 World Championship along with several accompanying entertainment activities, festivals and music concerts, which will be held around the track and fan zone in the weekend. — SPA
