Prince Faisal discusses bilateral ties with Turkish counterpart in Tashkent

TASHKENT — Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal Bin Farhan met here on Friday with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu

The meeting took place on the sidelines of an international conference on “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Opportunities and Challenges” being hosted by Uzbekistan in Tashkent on Friday.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them to serve common interests.

They also discussed the most prominent developments in the regional and international arenas.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan Hisham Al-Suwailem and the director-general of the office of foreign minister, Abdul Rahman Al-Daoud.


On Thursday, the Saudi foreign minister held a series of bilateral meetings with his counterparts from China, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
