RIYADH — Acting Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Combat Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) Maj. Gen. Pilot Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Mughidi received on Thursday a delegation from the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

The delegation was briefed on an explanation of the Coalition's efforts to combat terrorism in the four fields (intellectual, media, combating terrorist financing and the military), and its role in coordinating the efforts of the Coalition's member states.

During the meeting, they discussed ways of joint cooperation between IMCTC and GCC.

It is worth mentioning that IMCTC includes 41 from its member states, working together to coordinate and intensify their efforts in the international war against violent extremism and terrorism and to join other international efforts aimed at maintaining international peace and security. — SPA
