CAIRO — On behalf of Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Khalid Bin Salman, Saudi Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Fayyad Bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili attended the opening of the July 3rd Naval Base here.

The naval base is on the northwest coast of the Arab Republic of Egypt and was inaugurated on Friday by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.

The opening ceremony was held in the presence of a number of Arab officials.

During the inauguration, President El Sisi raised the Egyptian flag on the new naval base, marking its inauguration. — SPA
