RIYADH — The Arab Coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia on Wednesday intercepted and destroyed an explosive-laden drone launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia toward the southern region of the Kingdom.

In a statement, the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen said the militia continues to deliberately target civilians and civilian objects, adding that the coalition forces are taking all operational measures to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure objects from hostile attacks. — SG
