RIYADH — The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by King Abdulaziz and his Companions for Giftedness and Creativity and the Ministry of Education, won 4 awards to set a new Saudi as well as Arab achievement.

The Kingdom finished with 4 prizes in the European Physics Olympiad (EuPhO) held on June 19-24 following keen competition between 230 students representing 46 countries.

The event took place in Estonia. This was the 3rd Olympiad the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had participated consecutively. The event is called the EuPhO.

The total of awards won by the participants from the Kingdom have risen to 10 — with the medals ranging from gold and bronze medals to appreciation certifications.
