Bahrain seeks to find out new Israeli govt's policy with regard to Mideast peace process

MANAMA — Bahrain has reached out to the new Israeli government in order to learn about the Israeli policy toward the efforts aimed at establishing peace in the region through the settlement of the Palestinian issue on the basis of the two-state solution and international resolutions, Bahrain's Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al-Zayani said on Wednesday.

In a statement carried by the Bahrain News Agency, Al-Zayani stressed Bahrain’s approach is based on understanding, dialogue and cooperation among people.

He underlined the foreign ministry’s keenness to communicate with its Israeli counterpart to push forward the peace process in the region in order to achieve security, stability, and development for the benefit of its people.
