RIYADH — All foreign nationals coming to Saudi Arabia must register their coronavirus vaccination status online before their arrival in the Kingdom, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday citing a statement from the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat).

In a statement carried by the SPA, Jawazat said the online registration of vaccination status will help speed up immigration procedures and reduce the waiting time of passengers at ports of entry.

The move, which applies to citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, holders of new visas of all kinds, residents and their companions, both immune and unvaccinated, is in line with the efforts made by the Kingdom to limit the spread of coronavirus to ensure the safety of citizens and residents living in the Kingdom.

All travelers must adhere to precautionary measures and preventive measures while complete their entry procedures, Jawazat added in the statement.
