RIYADH — King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) has broadcast the second part of its documentary collection “Palestine... a candle that did not go off”.

The documentary was prepared to clarify the permanent relation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Palestine and the political correlation between the Jerusalem issue and the international political issues at the Saudi diplomatic agenda.

This part, which was broadcast on the foundation’s Youtube channel and its other platforms, revealed the roots of this spiritual and political connection that dates back to the reign of King Abdulaziz.

The historical item also included photographic documents and a letter that King Abdulaziz sent to US president Franklin Roosevelt, which dated March, 1945.

The series is considered an intensified reference for researchers and specialists in the Palestinian people and a documented key for more details about the relation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the Palestinian issue. — SPA
