KSrelief launches project to prepare educational labs at University of Aden

ADEN, Yemen — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), the charity arms of Saudi Arabia, has launched a project to equip educational labs in the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Aden, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday.

The project was launched in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Yemeni Ministry of Public Health and Population Dr. Ali Al-Walidi, the president of the University of Aden, Dr. Al-Khader Lusour, the dean of the College of Medicine, members of the faculty, and KSrelief team members.

The attendees toured the educational laboratory hall of the College of Medicine and were briefed on the project which will make a qualitative leap in modernizing the lab infrastructure and providing with the necessary equipment and supplies.

The project, which will last for six months, seeks to benefit 2,000 students, in addition to 313 faculty members.


It also aims to create an interactive environment to provide students and faculty members with access to training capabilities by providing them with modern educational means, which will contribute to the development and strengthening of capabilities and health cadres in the Yemeni society.

Last month, KSrelief signed an agreement to launch the project.
