JEDDAH —
Saudi Arabia’s allies, Arab and Islamic organizations have strongly condemned the Iran-backed Houthi militia’s launch of an explosive-laden drone toward the southern region of the Kingdom.

On Friday, the Arab Coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia successfully intercepted and destroyed the armed drone.

In a statement, Bahrain’s foreign ministry affirmed the country’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all the measures it takes to defend its territorial integrity against everything that targets its security and stability.

The ministry also praised the vigilance of the coalition forces, which managed to intercept and destroy the plane, affirming that this terrorist act constitutes a blatant attack on the sovereignty of the Kingdom and a serious threat to the security and safety of its citizens and residents.

The United Arab Emirates expressed strong condemnation and disapproval of the militia's attempts to target civilians and civil facilities in Saudi Arabia.

In a statement issued by the foreign ministry, the UAE stressed that the continuation of such terrorist attacks reflects blatant defiance of the international community and disparaging of all international laws and norms.

The UAE called on the international community to take an immediate and decisive stance to stop such repeated acts, emphasizing that such continuation of recent attacks constitutes a dangerous escalation and a new proof of this militia's endeavor to demise security and stability in the region.

The UAE's and Saudi Arabia's security is integral, the statement read, concluding that any risk the Kingdom may face, the UAE considers it as a threat to its own national security and stability.

President of the Arab Parliament Adel Bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoomi in a statement strongly denounced the attack and called on the international community to swiftly and decisively move against Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia's crimes, violations against humanity and holding those responsible and accountable.

He expressed full solidarity with Saudi Arabia against such terrorists, reiterating that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the Arab national security.

Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yusuf Bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen expressed in a statement strong condemnation against the attack.

He reaffirmed OIC's backing up and supporting Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to defend its security and stability.
