HRC chief highlights Saudi human rights reforms in virtual meeting with US official

RIYADH —
President of Saudi Arabia's Human Rights Commission (HRC) Awwad Al-Awwad held a virtual meeting with Christopher Le Mon, deputy assistant secretary in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor at the US Department of State.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues relating to human rights, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday.

Al-Awwad in his meeting with the top US official highlighted the major reforms implemented by the Kingdom in the field of human rights upon directives of the wise leadership.
