Preliminary list for presidency and membership of Saudi Olympic Committee announced

RIYADH — The preliminary list of candidates for the presidency and membership for of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee for 2021-2024 was revealed on Friday by the committee responsible for holding elections.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the committee received one list headed by Sports Minister Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al-Faisal with Prince Fahd Bin Jalawi as vice president.

The list includes Princess Reema Bint Bandar; Prince Abdullah Bin Fahd; Prince Khalid Bin Al-Waleed; Prince Khalid Bin Sultan; Prince Sultan Bin Fahd; Yasser Bin Othman Al-Rumayyan; Yasser Bin Hassan Al-Mishal; Ahmed Bin Shaher Tabbaa; Adhwaa Bint Abdulrahman Al-Arifi; Dr. Habib Bin Ali Al-Rubaan; Dr. Ghassan Bin Yusuf Tashkandi; Ahmed Bin Muhammad Al-Sabban; Engineer Ahmed Bin Safwan Al-Qadmani; Brig. Gen. Shaddad bin Talie' Al-Omari and Ibrahim Bin Salman Al-Muaiqil as members.

The committee said that the door for appeals against the preliminary lists is open for a day, and the announcement of the final lists of candidates will be made on Saturday, provided that the elections are held during the 24th General Assembly of the Olympic Committee on Sunday.
