King, Crown Prince congratulate Yemeni president on Unity Day

RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman have sent cables of congratulations to Yemeni President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi on the anniversary of his country's Unity Day.

In their congratulatory messages, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince wished the Yemeni president good health and happiness and the government and people security and stability, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday.

Unity Day is a national holiday in Yemen and it held on May 22 every year. The day commemorates the unification of North Yemen and South Yemen, which took place on this date in 1990.

On this day, the president makes a speech broadcast on television and radio, and awards state decorations and orders to Yemeni citizens, according to Wikipedia.
