Islamic Affairs Ministry prepares 20,569 mosques, prayer areas throughout Saudi Arabia for Eid

RIYADH — The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by its branches in all regions of Saudi Arabia, has prepared 20,569 mosques and prayer areas for Eid Al-Fitr prayer for this year.

All prepared mosques are well-equipped according to the health protocols approved by the competent authorities to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Through its branches, the ministry has offered the opportunity for volunteer teams to participate in organizing the entry and exit of worshipers, from the mosques in accordance with health protocols.

The ministry's branches will also coordinate with the security authorities to follow up the violations as well as the implementation of preventive measures in order to preserve the health and safety of the worshipers.

The ministry also stressed that the employees of mosques and worshipers must follow all preventive instructions and precautionary measures approved by the competent authorities. — SG
