Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan met with his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu, and the accompanying delegation in his office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs branch here on Tuesday.


During the meeting, which was attended by Saudi Arabia's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed bin Abdulkarim Al-Khuraiji, Prince Farhan and Cavusoglu discussed bilateral relations and key regional and global developments, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The Turkish foreign minister, who is in the Kingdom on a two-day official visit, commented about the meeting with his Saudi counterpart on his Twitter account, saying: “Agreed with Foreign Minister @FaisalbinFarhan of Saudi Arabia to work on positive issues on our common agenda and to hold regular consultations.”

“Our close cooperation will contribute to stability, peace and prosperity in the region,” he added.
