Civil Defense in Jazan dismantles mine washed away by flooding from Yemen

JAZAN — Col. Mohammed Bin Yahya Al-Ghamdi, spokesperson for the Civil Defense Directorate in Jazan Region, has stated that the Civil Defense in Al-Tawal Governorate received a report about the discovery of a mine disguised as a rock that was washed away by flooding from Yemeni lands to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He said that specialists immediately rushed to the site, took necessary security precautions in such cases and implemented approved procedures and dismantled it. No injuries were reported, he added.
