Al-Falih, Azmin Ali discuss enhancing cooperation and investment opportunities

RIYADH — Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih met here on Sunday with Malaysian Minister of International Trade and Industry Mohamed Azmin Ali and his accompanying delegation during his official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, they reviewed the trade and investment relations between the two countries, and ways of developing and strengthening them in a way that reflects the aspirations of the two leaderships to achieve prosperity for the two brotherly peoples.

"This occasion represents an opportunity to invite the Malaysian companies to come to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to explore the investment opportunities in all sectors," Eng. Khalid Al-Falih said, stressing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s keenness to enhance the cooperation between the two countries and to work to overcome the trade and investment challenges.

It is worth mentioning that the Malaysian delegation came to Riyadh from Madinah after receiving the invitation of Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Al-Falih, who is also chairman of the Board of Directors of the Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority, to visit the Knowledge Economic City to explore the economic city’s projects and promising investment opportunities in a number of fields of interest of the Malaysian investor. — SPA
