Interior Ministry to receive applications for shooting club license in May

RIYADH — The General Department of Weapons and Explosives at the Interior Ministry will start receiving applications for licenses from citizens for running private shooting training clubs from May 13 (Shawwal 1). The applications can be submitted through the Amn electronic portal of the Public.

This is within the framework of the continuous pursuit to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and its executive programs. This initiative supports the strategic orientations of the Quality of Life program and achieves its goals of creating the necessary environment to support and develop new options that enhance participation in cultural, entertainment and sports activities.

These clubs will also contribute to providing employment opportunities and safe training for those interested in shooting with firearms after ensuring the highest safety standards.
