Al-Khorayef showcases investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia in meeting with Malaysian counterpart

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef held a meeting on Wednesday in his office with Malaysian Minister of International Trade and Industry Mohamed Azmin Ali and the accompanying delegation, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

During the meeting, developments in joint projects and agreements in various fields were discussed.

They reviewed investment opportunities and sought to strengthen economic relations between the two countries, particularly in the industrial sector.

The ministers also explored export opportunities between the two countries.

The meeting touched on the industrial progress Saudi Arabia has made and the attractiveness of the Saudi market for investments in various fields.

Al-Khorayef invited Malaysian businessmen to invest in the Kingdom and take the advantage of the new legislation introduced by the government, especially in the local content, exploit the promising opportunities in the Saudi market, and make the most of the Kingdom's important geographical location to access regional and global markets.

The industry sector in the Kingdom is a key component of Vision 2030 for achieving the desired goals with regard to the economic transformation. The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources is working to improve the investment environment in order to attract capital to the sector.
