JEDDAH — The Ambassador of France to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ludovic Pouille stressed that Historic Jeddah represents a long-standing legacy of the city whose age exceeds thousands of years, and is considered one of the important cultural and heritage fronts as it is one of human civilizational treasures.

He made this statement during his visit to Historic Jeddah, accompanied by French Consul General in Jeddah Mostafa Mihraje. The Ambassador was briefed on the museum, rare artifacts and mega projects in Historic Jeddah.

Ambassador Pouille also viewed a collection of rare pictures about the Jeddah region and exhibited collections and artifacts.

He praised efforts to preserve the heritage, stressing that initiatives being implemented in Historic Jeddah will contribute to informing visitors and reminding them of the heritage of the city of Jeddah. — SPA
