MANAMA — Bahrain’s Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed Bin Rashid Al-Zayani held a phone call on Wednesday with the Israeli Minister of Tourism Orit Farkash-Hacohen.

They discussed topics related to the tourism sector and ways to develop cooperation between Bahrain and Israel.

The two sides stressed the importance of such fruitful talks, which will positively reflect on the development and revitalization of tourism in light of the region's stability and historical positive transformations, looking forward to more cooperation in both countries and opening the way for investment in this vital sector.

Al-Zayani reviewed the latest developments in the tourism sector in Bahrain and the efforts made by the ministry to strengthen this field and provide it with the elements that would improve tourism services and consolidate the ancient image of Bahrain as a tourist site on the side for visitors from the region and the world, appreciating the steps taken by the two sides to develop bilateral relations in this aspect, especially those related to opening airspace between the two countries and facilitating official travel procedures between them. — Bahrain News Agency
