I reiterate my gratitude and appreciation to the Crown Prince, a man of law. The Crown Prince has implemented legislative reforms that promote further protection of individuals' rights in addition to raising the levels of both judicial and legal work at various stages, including personal statuses to families and individuals to businesses and criminal cases.

Undoubtedly, these reforms will have a profound impact on legal practices, due to increased interest in legal administrations and specialized lawyers. Notably, I would like to highlight the importance of legal specialization in the various fields of law.

In the year 2020 and light of the pandemic, the world was introduced to the case of Argentinian player Lionel Messi and his desire to transfer from FC Barcelona and away from the media, his fans, and the Catalan club.

This proved to be an emotional year for all passionate fans of clubs such as Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, and Bayern Munich including English clubs, particularly Manchester City and Manchester United.

Coaches Guardiola and Klopp, of Manchester City and Liverpool, respectively, both had an opinion on the matter.

The legal issue responsible for keeping Messi in the club for the remainder of the season is referred to as the ‘penal clause’ found in parts of the conditions of his contract.

As the desires and directives have changed again, this allows us to once more emphasize the importance of the law in governing legislation that preserves the rights of players, including intellectual property rights, advertisements, and television broadcasting rights, as not just a game, but a sport.

It is rather an industry based on media and investment, and Messi's case was a legal turnaround befitting such a marvelous player both in and outside the stadium. This, in turn, could lead to significant legal reforms led by the UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) and FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association).
