JEDDAH —
The Arab Coalition on Friday intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia targeting Jazan, Al-Ekhbariya TV reported.

The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen said the continued attacks are part of the Houthi militia’s systematic and deliberate hostile attempts to target civilians in the Kingdom.

The coalition affirmed that it will take all necessary measures to protect civilians in accordance with international humanitarian laws.

Friday’s attack came a day after the coalition forces destroyed five ballistic missiles and four explosive-laden drones fired by the Houthi militia toward Jazan.
