RIYADH — Over 75,000 clients have issued their first powers of attorney (PoAs) remotely in two weeks, announced the Ministry of Justice (MoJ).

The ministry has recently allowed issuance of first PoA remotely through Najiz.sa portal.

“The step is aligned with the ministry’s efforts to digitize notarial services in order to boost efficiency and spare clients visits to the notarial office,” the MoJ said.

The ministry previously required users of the electronic PoA service to have issued their first PoA by visiting a notarial office.
