Joint Saudi-Sudanese ‘Al-Fulk 4’ naval exercises continue

JEDDAH — The Royal Saudi Naval Forces, represented by the Western Fleet and the Sudanese naval forces, continued their “Al-Fulk 4” joint military exercise on Tuesday at the King Faisal Naval Base here.

Brig. Gen. Hazza Bin Qatrim Al-Mutairi, the commander of the exercise, pointed out that several joint training sessions were conducted, including procedures of enforcing the right to visit and inspect any suspected ship as well as fighting in built areas, storming buildings, shooting with main and secondary weapons and carrying out combat patrols.

The five-day exercises, which began on Sunday, are being carried out by marines as well as naval units from the two sides. — SG
