JEDDAH — The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi has decided to give recruitment companies a grace period until the beginning of March 2022, to rectify their status, according to what was previously approved in the Executive Bylaw of the Labor Law.

As to recruitment offices wishing to change their legal entity into a small recruitment company for domestic workers, they will have to wait until the end of the current year, 2021, to amend their category.

The amendment will be from a recruitment office to a recruitment company, with the specified capital raised to SR1 million. It will then be obligatory on the company to raise its specified capital to SR2.5 million before the end of March 2022.
