RIYADH — The Ministry of Health warned that it would take penal action against those publishing advertisements through various means of media regarding the sale of appointments for coronavirus vaccine administration.

The ministry reiterated that there are no authorized online platforms to book for the vaccine appointments except the ministry’s Sehhaty application.

“The appointments for taking coronavirus vaccine shots from the vaccination centers are available for everyone through the application free of charge,” the ministry said in a statement.

The ministry revealed earlier that citizens and expatriates, who have registered their names on the Sehhaty application, can have directly book an appointment on available dates at the nearest vaccination center through the following link on the application: http://onelink.to/yjc3nj. As of Tuesday, over 2.3 million doses of vaccines have been administered in various regions of the Kingdom.
