RIYADH — The governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) Dr. Mohammed bin Saud Al-Tamimi inaugurated on Thursday an international workshop on the role of Internet of Things technologies in enhancing the economy and serving societies.

The workshop was held in cooperation with the International Telecommunication Union, being attended by more than 20 local and international experts.

Dr. Al-Tamimi stressed the importance of holding such a workshop to discuss ways of maximizing the use of Internet of Things Technologies is empowering digital societies and achieving sustainable development goals. — SG
