RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed Bin Saeed Al-Jaber, who is also the general supervisor of the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen, met here on Thursday with UN Secretary General's Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the Iran-backed Houthi militias' attacks on the civilian facilities in Saudi Arabia as well as in Yemen’s Marib province amid global calls for peace.

Ambassador Al-Jaber affirmed support for the UN efforts to reach a comprehensive political solution in Yemen. — SG
