Mouminah chosen chairman of administrative affairs committee of IMF Board

RIYADH — The International Monetary Fund's Executive Board members have unanimously selected the Executive Director of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the Fund Maher Hamed Mouminah as chairman of the Committee for Administrative Affairs (CAM) of the Executive Board.

This selection reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's position globally, and the international confidence in the ability of the executive director of Saudi Arabia to complete the work of this committee, which plays a fundamental role in the administrative affairs of the Executive Board.

The committee aims to supervise all administrative processes related to the Executive Board and the offices of the executive directors. The committee's most prominent tasks are to set and review administrative policies and a number of internal controls for the Board, in addition to assessing their efficiency and effectiveness to ensure raising the level of the Board's performance. — SPA
