KSrelief launches project to empower orphans in Al-Mahrah

AL-MAHRAH — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched Monday a project to empower orphans and strengthening their steadfastness in Al-Mahrah Governorate, Yemen.

The project aims to provide integrated care for the families of orphans by providing health and educational care, benefiting 1,000 orphans in the Yemeni Governorates of Aden, Marib and Al-Mahrah.

This comes within the framework of the humanitarian projects provided by the KSrelief to protect the Yemeni orphans and improve their living conditions.

9,412 blankets and 4,706 winter

bags distributed in Jordan

In Amman, KSrelief continued distributing winter clothes to the needy families, including 9,412 blanket and 4,706 winter bags, benefiting 4,706 Jordanian, Syrian and Palestinian families.

On other side, KSrelief's clinics continued providing medical services in the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan. About 334 patients visited the clinics with various health conditions. The KSrelief's clinics checked them, provided them with the necessary health care.

This aid comes within the framework of humanitarian efforts, exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to support Palestinian and Syrian refugees and needy families in Jordan. — SPA
