RIYADH — Police in Riyadh region arrested two Saudis and a Sudanese national who were involved in storming the accommodation of foreign workers and robbing their money and precious belongings after impersonating themselves as security officials.

Maj. Khaled Al-Karaidis, spokesman of Riyadh police, said members of the gang admitted to committing the crime in the same pattern at two housing facilities of foreign workers.

They robbed money, mobile phones and other personal belongings of the workers.

The Sudanese national, who is in his 30s, was found living in the Kingdom in violation of the residency regulations. The criminals were handed to the Public Prosecution to complete the legal procedures against them, the spokesman added.
