Saudi Arabia has robust system to keep a check on criminal behaviors

Noor A. AlNaboud

“IF we know that certain brain characteristics may predispose some people to violence, what can we do about it? Intervene — and the earlier, the better, says Adrian Raine, the author of the book "The Anatomy of Violence,” which was published by Random House in 2013.

The more we understand why something happened or turned out the way it had, the more we can expect the sequence of our life, actions, relations. I always believe, there is a beginning or start for every event, and, nothing will appear just suddenly.

Further to the above, there is no qualification better than having to keep an open mind to others’ behaviors and how they think, for this is something really serious and must be considered, especially, when violent factors are obvious in the scene.

Criminal behavior can be defined as any action breaking the law or relating to crime. This behavior has several characteristics and different levels as well, such as lack of self-control, sociopathic tendency, drugs problem, hypertension for all these can produce violent actions. Such risk factors can be evaluated from security, psychological and social aspects.

In Saudi Arabia, we are lucky as we have a robust and system in place to check these criminal behaviors and limit dangers they may pose to the citizens or residents. These behaviors can threaten, ruin or put in danger human life.

There is also a connection between criminal minds and young age, as we find cyber crimes nowadays gaining a huge part of our attention globally and internally. Saudi Arabia has focused on this subject and has been encouraging the talented ones to join this sector in order to curb the menace.

I say we should be thankful for the progress we have made in our country to protect the young minds by providing them with a secure informative environment even in such challenging times, while crime is increasing around the world.
