Bahrain honors injured military officers participating in Arab Coalition

MANAMA — Bahrain Defense Force Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received here on Monday Bahraini Royal Artillery Commander Maj. Gen. Shaikh Khalifa bin Hassan Al Khalifa and the injured affiliated to the operational duty group of the Bahrain Defense Force who participated in the Coalition Forces to Support Legitimacy in Yemen.

The commander-in-chief decorated the injured each with a medal of distinction for bravery during battles at the southern border of Saudi Arabia, wishing them a speedy recovery.

Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed expressed his appreciation for BDF brave men who made great efforts during their mission to defend legitimacy and support their brothers in Yemen.

Defense Affairs Minister Lt. Gen. Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi was present on the occasion. — SG
