Saudi Arabia, Ukraine seek to boost cooperation in air transport services

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia and Ukraine have signed a cooperation agreement in the field of air transport services between the two countries.

The agreement, which was signed virtually by Abdul Hadi bin Ahmed Al-Mansouri, the president of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), and Oleksandr Bilchuk, the chairman of the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine, includes a number of regulatory provisions related to the multiplicity of designating national carriers for both countries, air safety, aviation security, and air transport services.

It is noteworthy that GACA seeks to apply regulations and procedures according to the highest international standards to ensure the safety of air transport and to build a modern airport system with modern and advanced services.
