King Salman receives message from Kuwait’s Emir

RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman received here on Friday a message from Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The message was received by Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir, who is also a member of the Cabinet, from Kuwait Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah

Earlier in the day, Al-Jubeir received Sheikh Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser, who arrived in the Kingdom as an envoy of the Kuwaiti Emir.

During the meeting, they also reviewed the bilateral relations and latest regional as well as international developments of common interest.

The Kuwaiti foreign minister also met with Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf .

During the meeting, the GCC chief and the Kuwaiti minister reviewed the progress of the GCC and efforts exerted in order to consolidate it, as well as consultations aiming at realizing the aspirations of the GCC member in accordance with the visions and directives of leaders of the member states.

In addition, they also discussed issues atop of the upcoming GCC summit agenda, set to be held, in AlUla, on Jan. 5 (Tuesday).
