King Salman sends formal invitation to Qatari Emir to attend GCC Summit

DOHA — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has sent a formal invitation to Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to attend the 41st GCC Summit set to be held in Saudi Arabia on Jan. 5, 2021.

The invitation was received by the Emir of Qatar during his meeting with the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Dr. Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf.

During the meeting, they reviewed the council's achievements, especially in social, economic, and commercial fields.

The secretary-general stated that GCC enters its fifth decade with substantial achievements, excellent cooperation, and a common aspiration for a constructive and bright future to achieve Gulf citizens' aspirations. — SG
