DUBAI — Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is also the vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, has directed to extend the validity of tourist visas for all nationalities for one additional month due to temporary airport closures and entry restrictions around the world.

The decision seeks to provide relief to visitors coming to the UAE from around the world to spend end-of-the-year celebrations with their families.

Government departments have been directed to facilitate procedures for tourists over the coming period and collaborate with relevant authorities to ensure the safety of all visitors during their stay in the UAE. — SG
