Bahrain crown prince receives King Salman’s invitation to King Hamad for GCC Summit

Bahrain’s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who is also the country’s prime minister, received on Monday a formal invitation addressed to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to attend the 41st session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) in Riyadh next week.

MANAMA — Bahrain’s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who is also the country’s prime minister, received on Monday a formal invitation addressed to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to attend the 41st session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) in Riyadh next week.

The invitation was delivered to the Bahraini crown prince during a meeting with Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, the secretary-general of the GCC, at Riffa Palace.

The crown prince expressed the wishes of Bahrain for the success of the GCC supreme council meeting.

For his part, Dr. Nayef expressed his appreciation for the Bahraini crown prince's interest in developing joint GCC work and wished Bahrain further prosperity.

Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani and Finance Minister Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa also attended the meeting. SG
