King Salman invites Kuwaiti Emir to attend GCC Summit

KUWAIT — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has sent a message to Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, inviting him to attend the 41st session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for the Arab States to be held in Riyadh on Jan. 5, 2021.

The message was received on Monday at Al-Seif Palace by the Kuwaiti Emir during his reception of the GCC Secretary-General, Dr. Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf.

During the meeting, they reviewed the march of the GCC and achievements made for the peoples of the member states, especially in social, economic, and commercial fields.

The GCC secretary-general expressed his sincere thanks to the Kuwaiti Emir for his keenness on continuing efforts to strengthen the council and pushing the GCC's march to broader horizons. — SG
