NEOM — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman made a phone call on Thursday to US President Donald Trump, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

During the call, they reviewed the strategic bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them.

They also took stock of the developments in the region, in addition to discussing issues of common concern.

According to a statement from the White House, both leaders discussed regional security issues.

“President Trump thanked King Salman for his leadership and expressed his optimism towards resolving the Gulf Rift,” the White House statement read. — SG
