Top Saudi, US military officials meet, seek to enhance defense cooperation

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Chief of General Staff Gen. Fayyadh Al-Ruwaili received here on Wednesday Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of StaffGen. Mark A. Milley and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, which took place at the King Salman Air Base in the Central Sector, the two sides discussed joint cooperation and coordination between the two countries, especially in defense and military affairs with an emphasis on dealing with forms of terrorism to ensure the security and safety of the region.

Top military officials of the two strong allies also reviewed a number of issues and topics of common interest. — SG
