Saudi Gazette report

RIYADH — The Ministry of Health has reassured all the people in the Kingdom about the safety and security of the coronavirus vaccine, confirming that it has undergone all the required safety tests and experimental use before it was accorded approval for use.

The ministry stated that vaccines in general are an easy and safe way for everyone to prevent infection or transmission of disease, noting that the results of these vaccines are monitored after their continuous use.

It noted that the importance of using the coronavirus vaccine stems from working on protection from viruses by allowing the body to develop an immune response in a safe and effective manner, as this would protect the body by preventing getting infection and controlling it.

“In general, taking the vaccine will help protect all from coronavirus and thus would contribute to safeguarding life of people and ensuring public health,” the ministry added.
