Prince Fahd Bin Jalawi, vice president of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee (SAOC) and president of the Saudi Triathlon Federation, has been chosen the new president of West Asian Federation of Triathlon.

RIYADH — The General Assembly of the West Asian Triathlon Federation recommended Prince Fahd Bin Jalawi, vice president of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee (SAOC) and president of the Saudi Triathlon Federation, as the president of West Asian Federation of Triathlon.

This selection came during a meeting held Friday evening by video call during which the General Assembly of the West Asian Triathlon Federation chose Prince Fahd Bin Jalawi for the post to succeed Khalid Al Fahim, the UAE chairman of West Asian Triathlon Federation.

On the occasion, Prince Fahd Bin Jalawi thanked the members of the General Assembly of the Triathlon Federation of West Asian countries for their precious confidence, stressing that he will shoulder this great responsibility to serve the sport of triathlon at the level of West Asian countries. — SPA
