Most KSA regions to receive rainfall until Thursday

JEDDAH — Most regions of the Kingdom are expected to receive medium to heavy rain, accompanied by thunderstorm, until Thursday, according to the forecast of the General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection.

The authority predicted that the regions of Makkah, Riyadh, Eastern Province, Jazan, Al-Baha, Qassim, Hail, and Northern Borders Region would experience rainfall, and there could be sandstorm and cold snap in some regions.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense earlier called on the public to take utmost caution and avoid venturing into valleys and flood passages, as well as to abide by the safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities through various means of media and social networking sites.
