RIYADH — Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) reviewed its experience, in distance training during the novel coronavirus pandemic, as a pioneering experience within six global experiences, as part of the activities of the Academy and Capacity Building Day, organized by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
SASO participated with 89 member states of the commission, by presenting a paper, on the experience of the SASO’s training center during the pandemic, presented by the Advisor to the Deputy Governor for Business Support and the Supervisor of the Training Center, Yunus Bin Mansour Al-Malik.
This comes within SASO efforts to activate cooperation with the organizations, in order to achieve the SASO's vision, to be a pioneering organization, at the regional and international levels.
It is noteworthy that the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is one of three international organizations concerned with developing international standards. — SPA
