Crown Prince, Japan’s PM hold phone talks, seek to strengthen bilateral ties

NEOM — Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, has made a phone call to Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday.

During the call, the Crown Prince congratulated Suga on being elected as Japan's new prime minister, wishing him success.

They also emphasized the two countries' keenness to enhance cooperation within the framework of the Saudi-Japanese Vision 2030.

For his part, the Japanese premier praised the success of the G20 summit and Saudi Arabia’s leadership of the group's works.
