MOSCOW — Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed on Wednesday his thanks and appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman for the active and joint cooperation in OPEC+ to ensure the stability of global energy markets.

During a ceremony to receive the credentials of foreign ambassadors, Putin said that Russia and Saudi Arabia actively cooperate in the OPEC +, which contributes to ensuring the stability of global energy markets, adding that they are very grateful to King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.

Putin also said that Russia's relations with Saudi Arabia, one of the leading countries in the Middle East, are developing increasingly due to the agreements that followed his visit to Riyadh in October 2019. — SG
