Saudi Arabia, Netherlands sign MoU to boost cooperation in air transport

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia and the Netherlands signed on Tuesday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance bilateral cooperation in the field of air transport.

The MoU was signed following a meeting between General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) chief Abdul Hadi bin Ahmed Al Mansoori and the Netherlands Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Janet Alberda.

Badr bin Salih Al-Saqri, the GACA chief’s assistant for economic policies and air transport, signed the memorandum on the part of the authority, while Ambassador Janet Alberda represented the Dutch side.

The MoU comes as part of the efforts of both countries to enhance bilateral cooperation in the transport of goods. — SG
